Real L!VE – Enterprise Live Event Ticketing & Nightlife Streaming Platform

Overview Real L!VE is a production-grade, high-throughput live event ticketing, creator booking, and streaming platform built for venue hosts, event organizers, performers, and attendees. Engineered as a single-page application (SPA) backed by a distributed serverless micro-endpoint architecture on Supabase (PostgreSQL 15), the platform manages the full event lifecycle—from initial booking and multi-tier ticketing to high-concurrency QR code scanning, automated multi-party collaborator payouts via Stripe Connect, and TCPA/GDPR-compliant Twilio SMS marketing campaigns. Full-Stack Architecture & Monorepo Development: Architected and engineered the full-stack Real L!VE platform using React 18, TypeScript (Vite), Tailwind CSS, and Supabase (PostgreSQL 15)—authoring 60+ database migrations, normalized relational schemas, and materialized views (events_view) to support high-throughput live ticketing and creator booking workflows. Automated Quota Reclamation: Integrated background cleanup routines executed via pg_cron to automatically release expired pending reservations back into available inventory when payment completion timeouts occur. Atomic Reservation & Concurrency Control: Engineered an atomic reservation pipeline leveraging database row-level locking (FOR UPDATE SKIP LOCKED) to eliminate double-bookings and ticket overselling during peak traffic surges, alongside scheduled pg_cron cleanup tasks to automatically reclaim expired inventory upon checkout timeouts. Serverless Edge Microservice Architecture: Built and deployed a distributed serverless API layer using Deno Edge Functions on Supabase to handle high-risk and high-throughput workflows (checkout session generation, scanner authorization, and payout aggregation) while isolating administrative privileges via elevated service-role contexts and JWT caller validation. Multi-Party Revenue Sharing & Stripe Ecosystem: Configured Stripe Connect Express onboarding, Stripe Checkout, and Stripe Subscriptions—enforcing KYC verification, automated commission splitting, and scheduled pg_cron batch transfers to distribute fees seamlessly among event hosts, creators, and platform operators. In-Browser Camera Pass Verification Engine: Built an end-to-end cryptographic pass issuance and verification pipeline using unique short UUID pass generation and a real-time device camera scanner (QRScanner) to validate attendee passes at event entry with sub-second latency. Compliant Twilio SMS Marketing Engine: Engineered a net-new, TCPA/GDPR-compliant Twilio SMS Marketing Engine featuring time-zone-aware quiet-hour enforcement, atomic credit wallet management, automated opt-in/opt-out (STOP) webhook handlers, and scheduled broadcast dispatching. Granular Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) & Admin Suite: Designed an enterprise Admin Management Suite and multi-tier RBAC system across 5 distinct roles (admin, promoter, dj, performer, event-coordinator) with intelligent post-login redirection, paginated CRUD views, and route-level authorization wrappers (PrivateRoute). Creator Booking & Collaboration Marketplace: Built a creative collaboration workflow enabling event organizers to discover, negotiate, and hire performers and DJs—incorporating real-time status tracking, contract negotiation tools, and embedded media suites supporting YouTube Live, Twitch indicators, and Disqus comment threads. Tamper-Proof Discount & Loyalty Rewards Engine: Implemented server-side validated promo code structures (fixed-amount and percentage discounts) paired with a points-based loyalty rewards program that automatically accrues points upon ticket purchases to drive repeat user retention.
